Just like servicing your car, computers and networks require regular check-ups and maintenance.
I can perform regular & planned ‘tune-ups’ including running software / firmware updates, checking system, error & backup logs, performing system & software clean-ups, etc..
Apple Server support
Your server and network environment needs to be secure, simple to use and efficient, unfortunately I find this is often not the case.
In my experience many, many companies are suffering from extremely poor server set-up, leading to many problems.
I always encounter businesses that have been supported by larger Mac support companies and struggle to get the help they need.

I can provide support for all Apple products, and home network / WiFi connection problems. I can get you set up so you can get on with doing the things you want to do, as well as bring your system back to life.
I also understand that sometimes it can be frustrating to get your iPhone, iPad, Macbook or iMac to do what you want them to do. You could spend hours reading manuals and researching web forums trying to get things working the way you expect them to.
I can help get all your hardware talking to each other, as they should do.
Mac Repair
I service all Mac models and you can trust your Mac in my care. I can completely manage your Mac repair requirements, including priority, repair with turnaround in days, not weeks.
Unlike the Apple stores, I generally get your unit back to you within 24-48 hours. I can also come to you on some occasions, which makes diagnosing and fixing the problem much easier.
If you are not sure if your Mac is worth repairing, give me a call and I'll be happy to advise you.
Mac Data recovery
Apple's file systems are different to those used by PCs (FAT & NTFS etc.), which means that standard data recovery methods will not work for Macs.
Because of this, I have developed my own Mac data recovery technique, and in most instances I am able recover your lost data.
Please note:
If you hear any sounds coming from your Mac or hard drive, please STOP using it, as it could make the recovery worse if not impossible.

The launch of this new site coincides with MacJunky’s 5 year anniversary this month (April), and I want to thank everyone of my clients for making this happen.

Well it seems some bright spark and Google felt the need to delete my Google Place listing and because of the fantastic way the Places service has been setup by Google, they can’t ‘revive’ my old listing, so all the reviews I had have miraculously vanished. Great Google, just BLOODY great!
Emails have been going back and forth between me and some guy at Google for the past week, and new it seems then have just stopped emailing me back, it’s been 2 days since the last email saying ‘Sorry we can not get your data back’

Chen reports that Amtrak is replacing its old manual ticketing system with iPhone, noting that the company is among the “growing number of businesses” to use iOS devices to improve operations. Chen reports that the system will allow conductors to keep track of passengers in real time and also provide updates to railway staff, such as if a disabled person is getting on at a particular stop or if equipment fails. Amtrak’s Matt Hardison says, “We’ve made a number of important improvements for both our customers and Amtrak, all in one fell swoop.”

Apple today announced financial results for its fiscal 2012 second quarter ended March 31, 2012. The Company posted quarterly revenue of $39.2 billion and quarterly net profit of $11.6 billion, or $12.30 per diluted share. These results compare to revenue of $24.7 billion and net profit of $6.0 billion, or $6.40 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter. “We’re thrilled with sales of over 35 million iPhones and almost 12 million iPads in the March quarter,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “The new iPad is off to a great start, and across the year you’re going to see a lot more of the kind of innovation that only Apple can deliver.”

Professional video editors around the world have moved to Final Cut Pro X to create faster and more flexible workflows. New York-based production house @radical.media is flipping its entire facility to Final Cut Pro X to tackle high-profile client projects. Hollywood’s Electric Entertainment is using Final Cut Pro X to cut episodes for the new season of its hit TV show “Leverage.” And accomplished editor Knut Hake used the software to edit new episodes of “Danni Lowinski,” one of Germany’s most popular and critically acclaimed TV shows.

I have been in the Mac support business for over 20 years and in April 2007 I started MacJunky here in Amsterdam.
Ever since the beginning, 'keeping things simple' has been my motto and it's played a very important role for me and my clients.
I deal in very simple terms and do my best not to 'geek speak'. This could be one of the reasons why in this short period of time MacJunky has flourished into a company with over 5500 clients.
I believe clients are the major part of any company, and therefore I believe in providing them with best and most honest service in a simple, efficient and effective way.
Personal
I was born in Tehran, Iran and moved to London at a very young age, and have always been interested in technology in one way or another.
In my childhood I remember getting my pocket money and going to the local hardware store to buy batteries or motors to build things with, at the time it seemed to worry my parents, but somehow it's helped me with my career.
In the 90's I got into music production and have worked with many artists and studios, and released a few tracks of my own.
